My first two Ikes were gifts, but you all knew that.

Still ~$87.

Is-Silver-Ready-To-Hit-$50---1/29/2026:-Will-It-Hit-$130?---Previous-Milestones-In-First-Post

Boy that 10:25 am candle stick really got my heart pumping a bit.

Look at that thing (in my Australian Crocodile Dundee voice) That there mate is what we call the vampiric mosquito blood sucker candle stick pattern.. Ya see, right there, where it pierced just below the epidermis of it's $85 dollar price target? That's the mosquitos prey. It sucked the money out of those poor buggers wallets, that had their stop loss set exactly at $85. Forcing them to sell before retracting his venomous stinger, and flying away, laughing with glee. As if to mock them..

That is exactly why I, the famous Crocodile Dundee, has his stop loss trigger set below $84.50, because I've seen these annoying vampiric blood sucker chart patterns before. So, by the time he triggers my sell order, his belly will be full to capacity, and I will watch him, laughing with glee as he crashes into the ground and dies. And then I will emerge from my bush laughing joyfully, with a brand new buy order ready in hand, ready for the next hunt.

You have to laugh at that style of commentary.

If it crashes, we will need all the laughter we can muster.

Still ~$87, but higher in the range. Eyeballing $88.

Hey we gotta have fun with this right I mean just watching the price without the comments, jokes, generation wars and other banter, would be boring as heck..

Hey if anyone else can take a look at the silver ETF named SLV, and can confirm this, but at 9:50 am on my 5 minute chart there's an even BIGGER hyperdermic needle, vampire mosquito looking thing that's sitting there and kinda worrying me out right now...

It could just be a glitch, but it dipped SLV down about a whole $7 dollars before recoiling. I hope it's a glitch and not a foretelling of what's to come, so if anyone could confirm they see that please tell.

I grew up in the same era, but never found any Eisenhower dollars in pocket change. Instead, though, my father used to give me one Eisenhower dollar for each "A" I received on my report card each term.

And, yes, I spent them on candy and other junk.

When Eisenhower dollar pocket finds would dry up I would take my measly allowance money to the grocery stores and ask the tellers if they had any of the "big dollars", as I would say to describe the Ike, in their cash registers that I could buy.. They almost never had any.. They did get really tough to find, especially after the Susan B. Anthony dollar came out (I didn't like those). If they didn't have any Ike's I'd ask for rolls of pennies, so I could search for wheaties. The Ike dollars were impressive huge chunks of money in this little kids hands. And yes I did eventually spend them too, they were circulated and sadly only worth face value. But yeah, today I of course have a complete UNC and Proof set of Eisenhower dollars in a nice dansco, still a beloved coin from my childhood, sitting with my many other coin sets.

Today has been an odd day indeed.

Now we wait and see what the night shift is cooking up.
