These are sheet notes from a run of 500,000. I'm not sure if they are considered uncirculated or not. I bought them from a cashier at a local connivence store for a dollar a piece and a beverage of his choice ( energy drink ).
He had gotten a tube of $1.00 from the safe and was crinkling them up so they would be easier to keep separated. I noticed the green star and asked him to please stop doing that and I would like to buy all the star notes in that roll.
When I got home I looked them up and immediately put them in a book and then ordered plastic sleeves from
Amazon.
I didn't look at them again until I put them in the sleeves.
The notes do have some crinkle marks, they also have what looks to be ink that had rubbed off. To me it looks like ink transfer, the back of the notes have black ink and match up with the missing ink on the front of the notes.
All five of these notes have a descending run of 4 between the last 6 digits and one of the notes has a descending run within the last 5 digits
I have looked on E bay to see what there value would be, by them selves they sell for around $5.00 each in circulated condition. I have also seen notes that share some of the characteristics. They also seem to be in the same and lower price value.
Being a run of 5 serial numbers, size of the run, haven't seen anything like these to compare.
These also come from only star note run from Ohio Federal Reserve for the 2017 A
I don't plan on selling them but am curious to know if they have value and what they might be worth. I did take them to a local coin shop with a good reputation and when he looked at them he told me they really had no value and wouldn't be interested in them at any price. I put them away for a couple years and decided to give the the population of you all to see what you think.
Thanks for taking time to check them out and looking forward to any and all comments.
