Theres always a pocket knife eh ? Amazing ... last time I was out with the tector I also found a pocket knife , must be a good one cos it was deep down and the wood handle inserts had rotted , leaving a brass frame and beautiful stainless steel blade , extremly sharp , quality knife.

Is this the same place that you found the other knives at? Have you tried to clean them up to see if they can be salvaged? I found a knife once and it cleaned up pretty good. A little pitted from the rust, but still in good shape.

Yeah this is the same place Yankee. Does anyone have advice on how to clean the rust off? I did buy some rust away to try out but worried it will make em fall apart.
I cant see a date on the Buffalo nickel Irishraider.
