It is P-30 a £1 (Israeli pound) from Israel   The front clearly shows a fisherman. The back shows a Mosaic from the floor of an ancient synagogue at lssafiya on Mt. Nice notes guys! For 1957 I've got this P-371 £5 from England:   The front features "helmeted head of Britannia at left, St. George and Dragon at lower centre." For 1957, a Hong Kong one dollar, P-324A. This design was printed from 1952 through 1959. This note is among a group of notes from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines I found a few years ago in one of Mom's scrap books. Dad had kept those notes during a tour of duty in southeast Asia aboard the minesweeper USS Lucid in the late 1950's.   Member of SPMC, FCCB, ANA and ANS. Today, 1956, I have to turn it down a notch as I only have 2 examples, one of which I have no photo. That is this pretty tough 5 Soles ( P-76) from Peru. From Cuba, this little P-87a ONE PESO packs a punch for interesting symbols within its design:   It features Civic (or "Revolution Square") & I have seen very few examples in true UNC.
