My father bought it while stationed in Italy many years ago and has no recollection as to its significance nor history. Any information will be appreciated! Report this Post to the Staff

echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 06/10/2009 2:52 pm From what I could find out this was an unoffical series of gold coins depicting famous Indian Chiefs of Venezuela. There are several assayers stamps on the reverse and the coin is marked 900 ley (pure). Report this Post to the Staff
