This is the first of this type I've bought, so I have no frame of reference, does anyone know what is under the King's chin?

It is a raised feature, somewhat lines up with a clashed maple leaf, but not the right shape to my eye and I couldn't find an overlay image.

Any input is appreciated!

Looks like small lamination.

Not a clash or gouge.
As DBM stated, it appears to be a small lamination.

DBM, JimmyD, mcshilling, thank you all - this one certainly had me mixed up. Interesting lamination shape.

DBM, a second thank you for that amazing link!
