See https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...ic_id=481603 for more. In a nutshell, the monthly reports via the website have stopped, FOIA requests have been slow, and the reports that they did return are riddled with mistakes and with duplicate information. The BEP FOIA team has confirmed that they only have the power to locate and publish what exists, but not the power to correct mistakes, let alone the power to actually generate reports to begin with. As I stated in the linked prior thread, it will most likely take intervention with the BEP director... and realistically this may need to originate from congress rather than the public... and worst case it may be in vain. Using the established notaphily grading scale, I think it is appropriate to rate this administration's performance as POOR - it is identifiable by number #47... but aside from being unique it has no desirable qualities. I wish I had a more upbeat message for you, but I do not. Cheers.

Quote: Anyone have any info on why BEP production reports are so far behind? I have no info but I have a very strong suspicion/idea why this has been happening. As there is a ''no politics'' rule here on the forum I won't say anything more.

Now you have my attention redlock......would love to hear your theory.
Too bad we dont have the ability to pm.
I work a job where I occasionally see brand new notes from the fed. I will start checking the block numbers to see if any that are not listed in the monthly reports show up. Would be nice to see them scuttle all the stuff sitting in storage as I am still seeing brand new 2017-a 20s from my credit union.

Maybe after like,10 attempts someone over there's figured out overprinting has a downside? Submitted a FOIA request. I'll keep you all posted.

Got a FOIA reponse with all the reports since May (inclusive). Posting what I got below.
(Let me know if that's bad forum form, I'll delete the posts and upload however is the proper way.)
