Please help me out on this one. This is a 1994 penny with what looks to be some form of a die clash just above "UNITED" on reverse. You can see remnants of a couple of letters on the rim.

Please provide your thoughts on this one. Thanks.

I've seen this before. I'm thinking some kind of letter transfer from a coin hitting the rim maybe? I'm thinking PMD.

I can't tell, is it raised or incuse? From the shadows, I think it is incuse though. It could be a vise job and the 'L' of liberty was pressed against the rim.

But this is not a clash.

It is incuse. Maybe an "L" and it also looks to be a top of an "N" or "M".

Can't be a die clash if it is on the rim.
Looks like damage from another coin.
