Here in NYC only been getting a ton of the first 250th anniversary quarter and spotted the second issue a few weeks ago. Nothing else though.

Its two days before the 4th of July and I can't believe I haven't found a single 2026 coin in my change in the western NY State area! I only have my US Mint purchases to prove they actually exist. The Mint struck an abundance of Bicentennial coins 50 years ago and I think average Americans were able to appreciate them. This time around everything seems so "limited edition" and you're very lucky to get anything from the Mint before it sells out in 10 minutes. They really dropped the ball on this very important time in our history.

Quote: I only have my US Mint purchases to prove they actually exist. Same. But I have had this problem late into the year the past few years. Quote: The Mint struck an abundance of Bicentennial coins 50 years ago and I think average Americans were able to appreciate them. I was in grade 1 during the spring before the bicentennial. I remember taking bicentennial quarters to school for milk money. They were plentiful. Funny thing is, it was more than two years before I had any interest in coins. I only knew what they were because my mom made a big deal of them. Quote: They really dropped the ball on this very important time in our history. I agree. Leadership has failed us.

Still nuttin'. I don't spend a lot of cash these days tho... Hmmm. Morning coffee at the Wag-a-Bag is something like $1.69, maybe I'll start spending pre$ for that and getting a quarter back each time.

I have yet to see any 2026 coins in the wild in the Phoenix area, pretty typical. Heck, I have only found a couple 2025's and we are at the halfway point of 2026.
I will be in Colorado for a couple days for the holiday, maybe I will have better luck up here.
I am most interested in the new Dime. It is the only one that is really different. Quarters are no longer interesting due to the hundreds of designs over the last couple of decades, the nickel is not quite as bad but still just kind of boring. Pennies are being seen less often and the 2026 ones will not be seen in circulation anyway. I can forget about the half dollar as I haven't seen one in circulation ever.
Even though I think the depiction of Liberty on the dime looks like a 10-year-old boy, I am still interested in seeing them in the wild.

Quote: the depiction of Liberty on the dime looks like a 10-year-old boy maybe it will inspire a few ten year olds to start a new hobby. even tho it was the pennies we never shall see again that got this ten year old going strong with coins such a loooooooong time ago. happy 250th, america. we share your pains; your gains; and the inevitable strains of adjusting to a dangerous new age.

Picked up some 2026 nickels about a month ago. Nothing since, and I use cash all the time.
