Hello

I've investigated few coins from the Italian states LOT but can't find the refrence for this piece. It looks like made of copper or bronze, has 2.6g and 18mm.

I can see two figures standing on the one side and the one figure standing on another

Maybe someone could help me on this?

Looks Byzantine to me.

I can see the Greek lettering "DESP", for "despotes", to the right of the top pic.

"Despot" was a lower-ranked title in the Byzantine heirarchy, not entirely unlike "prince" or "lord" in the Western heirarchy.
