also grading suggestions here would be helpful... DD is lightly apparent on R and Y in liberty on back the second S in states and O in of seems weirdly faded with maybe scratch marks running across, but doesn't seem to have affected the rest of the lettering... no other worn areas on either side so wondering what this might be?
to CCF. I'm not seeing any doubling with the images supplied. But the weakness you see on the reverse is due to the obverse side design taking up the metal to form and not leaving enough to fully strike up the reverse design elements.
Don't see a DD, only see some Machine Doubling on the letter R. As Dearborn stated, the weak letters are due to lack of metal to fill the cavities. You see the same thing on Lincoln Memorial cents. Fairly common and adds no value.
To CCF! I agree with Dearborn. Not worth getting slabbed at all. It would be a waste of money. No premium for it. It's a very common issue on Lincoln Cents.
