Hi, All! I'm new here so please be gentle...

I'm not well versed in lamination errors, but I believe that's what might be going on here. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Weight @ 9.66g.

Not a lamination, a lamination would not affect the whole coin.
It has been damaged by some form of corrosion.

Thank you all for the Welcome. And, for your quick responses! Corrosion makes perfect sense. One of those things where you look at something long enough and then just hope for the best. I appreciate you expertise and will try to get more interesting things posted in the future. I've been a "Morgan person" for a while and changing metals and coin series isn't working in my favor.

Supposed to weigh 10.9 grams - looks like it has acid/corrosion damage. Weigh it if you can.
