This is a really pretty 68 LMC. Especially given the age and that it's been circulated. I had to take a few minutes to marvel it's color and still sharp designs. I think I may be grieving the end of production of our beloved penny. Anyhow on closer observance it looks like there may possibly be doubling on the L of Liberty (ref. Wexlers; WDDO-002). Also on the I of In, the D in GOD, WE and the UST in TRUST. The mint mark could be RPM. Please let me know if I am correct on any of it please. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried looking for and matching the die markers for WDDO-002 on your coin?

Yes. The only one I could confirm is the marker under the left side of the T in United on the reverse. With that said the list only had 3 and they were barely discernable.

The 'L' looks like a a match for WDDO-002 but the rest does not, I see a die chip between the second T and the rim also a chip on the 'E' of We on your coin, Not seeing any RPM though
Can you post up a close up of that 'die marker' for us?

Here is a link to Wexler's site for DDO-2 (you should include the link when you think you have a match - it save time for everyone else that would have to go an complete the same research you already completed.
