The ebay seller seems legit. Any thoughts?

Perhaps you should add "Hudson Half Dollar" to the title to get more eyes on this.

The Hudson Half is extremely rare in circulated condition. It took ~10 years of dedicated searching for me to find my example.

That makes me skeptical without a weight and solid return privileges. Does the seller provide these?

Compare to this genuine certified example:

1935 Hudson Half Dollar PCGS VF35

Edit: I don't see any obvious red flags. If you are seeking a circulated Hudson this might be the rare opportunity to obtain one.

It slipped my mind to return to this one...I apologize for my tardiness.

I agree that there doesn't appear to be anything obviously wrong with the coin. If the weight, diameter and edge characteristic are as expected, I would feel OK about the coin's authenticity.

One observation, overall, I would say the coin has an above average strike. I've seen many "mushy" Hudson half dollars over the years!
