Hello. Any thoughts of a Grading opinion of this coin? Also, what's the black spot and can you get ride of it?

The glare makes it pretty impossible to tell much of anything. The photos of your half dollar were much better.

They're not - but the black spot may be a carbon spot. Once you have carbons spots it's pretty much a permanent thing.

that black spot is not a spot it appears to some type of metal issue. it could be PMD but there is no surrounding damage on the higher devices so it may have been a planchet issue pre-strike.

if this is the case it would probably come back in a genuine holder and may or may not receive a grade of AU
