I have a 1983 Lincoln Cent that appears to have a Close AM in "AMERICA," but I'm not entirely certain. The reverse side is in poor condition. What are your thoughts? I've also posted photos of another 1983 Lincoln that has the Wide AM for comparison.

All 1983 cents are a Wide AM.
The first Close AM wasn't until 1992

Sorry, this is a Wade AM. The 'A' in states is centered, and the FG initials are far from the memorial.

Just a normal coin. All of them from '83 are Wide AM's. You need to look for the 1992's Close AM's, and the 1998, 1999, and 2000 Wide AM's. https://doubleddie.com/273301.html

Zincoln's curse makes it look like something it is not.
