I read monogram Paul I as czar of russia. Also year 1789-1989. New medal, perhaps worn in modern Russian Royalist Society at the banks of the Seine, Paris. In 1989 it was allowed for Royalists to enter russia as a tourist again. Pin is no older then 1989. Original medal is silver and gold, and bear markings. Cannot see markings in pics, so I cannot help you further. Original medal wears also no date!
