What's going on here? Doesn't seem like a lot of metal movement. Numbers and inscriptions look really flat and fat. Seems to be same on obv and rev. Survey says?

better in focus images would help to nail down what is going on here, but for one thing it did not come from the mint this way.

If a parking lot find there should be some damage that would show the zinc core. And not a lamination error because the zinc core was copper plated. Weight is a bit light but in tolerance so could be acid treated. Or can always fall back on that good old " Dryer Coin" theory.
