Going through some US coins and found this 2016 dime that has a wide flat hair part with a good size Cud on it. There are other Cuds as well....one behind the ear and one at corner of his mouth. My question is about the wide hair part....would that have been caused by a strike through?

What you are seeing are Die Chips. In order to be classified as a Cud, it must involve a portion of the Rim.

possible struck through, maybe die polishing.

But Please, no more screen shots of your scope, we want the actual image it can take.

Agreed.

Also, in the future, please do not post photos of scope screens. Use the memory card or a USB cable to transfer images.
