I'm curious about how this would grade.

I would think it would get an EF45, it's still a very nice looking coin!

Great looking coin, but I see too much wear to give it more than an EF 45.

I haven't yet refined my Buffalo nickel grading abilities.

To me, that flatness looks more like the result of die wear rather than circulation wear. Both coin faces exhibit considerable radial flow lines. I don't really see a lot of scuffing, dings, and small scratches that would make me think significant circulation wear.

LDS both sides.

die polishing on the head of the buff. based on the photos it could have had a dip as it appears that some of the original surfaces have been removed.

AU53/55 I'm leaning 55

I'm not sure who FC is (I'm new here), but would love to hear his thoughts.

sorry, FC is Fortcollins. he is our resident expert on buffalo's who gives a thorough assessment of these. buffalos are one of the most challenging series to grade especially for someone new to the series. its not series I would purchase raw for any coin of value there are just too many issues by specific date and mint that can occur such as strike, die polishing, mismatched dies.
