Hello all, I'm new to the group. My name is Michael and I'm from Muskoday, Saskatchewan, Canada. I have a 1960 D Lincoln Cent and I am wondering if on the 6. Is it a Cud or maybe a double date that didn't work out? Not sure what is going on here. Any help or information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

to the CCF Michael

It looks like a broken post where the internal portion of the die failed at the date location.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Not a " Cud" - a Cud is a die break that involves the rim. Yours looks like a die chip.

To CCF! It's a Die Chip. They're kinda common on these.
