I have seen colorized coins here where the designer just did not care for proper relief. She was not a sculptor but a painter. The coin turned out very bad. More so because a version without color was also struck for sale and the bad design was even more obvious there. Report this Post to the Staff

GLB49 Bedrock of the Community United States 29717 Posts	Posted 08/01/2026 03:10 am I collect Australian Brumby uncirculated silver coins. It's a short series that started in 2020. I found out yesterday that the 2026 Brumby will be produced in colorized silver but not in regular uncirculated silver. I'm not sure why this decision was made.
