Cherry picked this beautiful 1938-s and it has a large lamination error on Lincoln's head and motto. Die markers photographed. Pics with the blue arrows are wexlers pics.

Definitely a DDR. However, the Die Crack on the bust is different. The head looks like it's showing a possible Retained Interior Die Break.

Q: "What's the very first sentence in the upload image page? "

A: " No pictures of screens! Topics will be locked!"

Thats a nice DDR but it looks like glue or some other substance on Lincolns forehead area.

In the future, please do not post photos of scope screens. Use the memory card or a USB cable to transfer images.

This is your second warning.

ok you really need to remove the coin from the 2x2 to reduce the glare we see that is obscuring some details, NO Screen shots are allowed At All. They are too pixelated and also obscure detail we need to see.

You do have a Nice DDR though - however due to the screen shots, the next time you post them your topic will get locked.

I had the same immediate reaction. That flake-like structure doesn't flow like a lamination. The location and the way it squiggles along the die cavity suggests die cracks forming a retained interior die break.

It's a nice coin. Would like to see EPU better. I have to agree that images uploaded from the scope would be way nicer than the glare on that screen.
