Need Help Identifying A Possible 1776 Continental Currency Coin

Hi! This is my first post here. My grandpa recently gave me a slew of coins from his collection, since he has no more need for them. The coin that appears to be a 1776 Continental Currency coin struck my fancy, because if it's a genuine coin that was designed by Ben Franklin himself, that'd be so cool to have!

It's near impossible to read the fine text, and I noticed some faint lines on the edge, but I wanted to get a second or third opinion from some coin collecting veterans, just in case.

Ahh, that's a shame, but at least I can now be more confident in it's authenticity (or lack thereof, haha)

Exactly, not sur what the red arrows are for but the green arrows show the "casting seam"...........

Yes, definitely cast, I am afraid.

Still, it is nice to look at. I have one too, and for a while I also thought (hoped! it may be real.
