Part of my collection is earmarked to go on to any children we have. We are the third generation to have those particular coins. The rest I will enjoy until I die and then everyone else can fight over them unless I have a little buffalo hunting knight to follow in my footsteps

I guess I will stop only when my faculties do not allow me to continue. This is all in the distant future and by then I hope to have interested one or both of my kids and they will get them. If not, my poor wife who will no doubt out-live me will be burdened downed with the lot.

Option 2..."Sell it for retirement" ...Nope, do not like the prospect of twidling my thumbs for the reat of my days without my collection to keep me company and may I add my sanity.
Option 3...."Take it with me"....Nope, my grave would be robbed
Option 4..."Let someone else worry about it" ...this option has certain appeal.
Option 5 ...."Other" .....Given all of the above, this is the only one I can vote for...
Beat me to it. That is exactly what I was going to say.

As a fairly healthy 28 year old I have not given it much thought. In theory, my Daughter will really be into numismatics and She can have them all. However, since She is not even one year old, coins are nothing more than an shiny choking hazard.

Collecting now and selling them with profit later. See it like a retirement help as what you get normally is not enough.
