This is a nice low ball coin. I could not read the date until I took the picture of the reverse side.

1868-A France - 1 Franc (Napoleon III)
this coin weighs 4.5 grams it is .5 g light.

Nice one, Dearborn! These silver Napoleon III Laureate Head coins are one of those types, like early British George V bronze coins, where the obverse is usually found in better condition than the reverse on well-circulated specimens.
