this is a strange one to grade. devices like the shoe, stars and feathers detail lends me to believe that its a weak strike and the cleaning probably did not help the higher devices like the gown over the left leg and eagle breast

1921 S Walking Liberty half-dollar coin, it's kind of beat-up.
I would say a $450 coin (F-15, Damage).

Thanks, all. Yes, it's been through the ringer for sure, but I do agree it has got some good details. It's certainly the era of weak strikes on a number of US coins, especially Bison Nickels and Standing Liberty quarters, so maybe a weak Walker is no surprise.

I knew the damage was there, so I was happy to pay U$200 for it. And it's considerably better than the one it replaces in my collection.

XF details damaged key date. The damage is extensive - but I think you paid a fair discounted price for it.
