1712 2 Skilling With Mark Punched Into It

I have a 1712 2 Skilling coin with "SV" stamped on it. From all of my research, I understand that some coins were sent to the Caribbean and stamped with marks to prove their value and use in their economy. I have only found a few examples with SV stamped on them for the Virgin Islands. But those were smaller and more professional looking. Can anyone help identify the marking and determine if it is legitimate?
