Interestingly, I found a 1958 wheat a week ago in my front yard while digging up my poppies. Our house was built in the 40s so maybe someone dropped it there years ago.

So all of the cents you found were wheats? Good job!

No not all the finds were wheat cents. These are just my key finds. I've found quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies, tools, crapload of nails, pop caps, etc...... But I will say I do find wheat pennies almost everytime I go out. My little godson was with me so I gave him all the other stuff.

I wish I found wheaties. The oldest penny I found was in the 1960s...

You do find quite a few wheaties. Any old silver yet? You would think with all that old stuff you find.

The only silver coin I found so far was a 1963 dime.
