hi hhb. I just thought I would mention that there are two obverse varieties known for that year.
Obverse 4 and obverse 5
this information is from the Charest variety guide.
Obverse 4 (1884-1886) The forehead of the queen is round and so is her chin
Obverse 5 (1885-1894) The upper lip of the queen is bigger than the lower one, a double chin appears, and the queen's forehead is straight.

For anyone collecting Canadian coins I would recommend the Charest guide. It can be paid for by paypal, and can either be mailed to you in hard copy or downloaded right away as a PDF file. for $20 is has quite a lot of useful information that I have not seen in my other Canadian guides.
