cownas22 Pillar of the Community United States 1055 Posts	Posted 07/09/2009 4:20 pm the only way they could be a bad thing is maybe if you didn't take them out to recharge and they began releasing the moisture that they absorbed, but this is an extreme case. I don't think you can have too much If you are using it in a safe get a 900 gram pack or 500 gram pack run $15-$20 and you should be fine for atleast 10 years before you could need to replace them. Jays-Dad Pillar of the Community United States 790 Posts	Posted 07/09/2009 10:31 pm I've been getting my desiccant packs from my wife's seaweed. When she buys the fancy Japanese seaweed, it comes with a "big" pack of desiccant (not like the little packs in my new sneakers). Is this desiccant "used" now? So on the same vein as this thread, can there be too much desiccant in a collection with coins and notes? Would it be possible to make the notes brittle? Report this Post to the Staff
