Sorry I was having problems with my partner on how we would split our findings, This is in North Africa Tripoli Libya, where my grandpa comes from... Any way I will be posting the rest of every thing soon with beautiful photos. Now this is just a very little small part of what I would call an Adventure.

THE REST IS COMING SOON NEAR YOU.............

Thanks Tim, I had every thing available except for the Probe and sifter, The Probe was confiscated they thought it was a stun gun lololol, I couldn't get it through the Libyan Airport of Tripoli, also the sand was so soft, so soft that if I used a shovel I would by mistake scoop out the coin and toss it far away which was dumb of me to do, I guess I was getting to excited, was very irritating for me because it was so time consuming and at times could not find the coin, so I started to dig with my hands.

Maybe you'll even find an airplane.

No word of a lie -- a lot of planes that had crash landed in the desert were buried by sandstorms.

Find any military stuff, shell casings, buttons, badges, helmets, that kind of thing?

Cool video. Looks like you had a blast. I can see how it would be hard to find those tiny coins. Good job. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

WpgLwr I did find one Italian Military Badge, and lots of shell casings, also there where a hand full of Roman Jewellery like rings and weird round balls of silver, you can almost say they where used as weights, like in scales or something of that sort. Anyway as soon as I get my stuff together and reach a solution with my numskull partner and receive half of the coins and other objects that we found I will post for all to view.

Thanks Southern Yankee, I really did have a blast, the only problem was, it's illegal to metal detect in Libya.
