I have about $5000 or more in State Quarter bank rolls complete P & D numerous rolls.

My thinking lately is sell these and use the money to get more silver coins.

Just can't make up my mind to keep or sell better to have the silver or the State Quarter rolls?

Any thoughts or opinions?

That must be one heavy load of quarters! I'd sell them and go for PMs or key dates as any numismatic premium on them is so minimal it's hardly worth the effort to mess with.

20,000 quarters! I figured it up and the nominal weight is 250 avdp. pounds!

I would sell them and fill the gold page in my type set! however that might not be what you are looking for...I think silver coins will be a better investment than the quarters in the future. I say sell them while some people are still interested in the series.

I would keep one P & D roll of each state, then sell the rest.
The "rolls" deserve a place in your collection.......but "overkill" isn't necessary.
Rest in Peace

I would keep the ones that have a premium and maybe some of the 1999's and 2001's. I think there are a few rolls that are selling for $40 a piece right now.

I would have to concur with what has already been said:

Keep one P&D roll of each state
Keep all Delaware, as it was first issue
Keep all that are currently selling at premium, and watch and sell when they begin to fall in price.

Sell all others.

Well guess I got carried away with the State Quarters.

I do have books of the P & D mints guess I will keep these for the kids or grand-kids and take a close look at all the rolls I have and sell most of them as suggested.

Must also stop the President dollar roll collecting have way to many of them also guess I will sell those.

I did take some president dollar rolls to the bank once but then went back the next day and bought them back.

But this time they are all going I will just pick some out and the rest go.

Will keep two books of the president dollars also for the grand-kids.

Thanks for your advice!
