Hi all,
Just wondering about the line from the D to the 5. I've seen 4 or 5 of these. I posted two pics, What ya think?

Two different 1958-D Cents struck with the same Die, one Early to Mid Die Stage and the other Late Die Stage showing the same Die Gouge! Note how thick the "D" Mintmark has broadened and become somewhat mushy due to Die polishing but the Die Gouge has almost disappeared.

To me, the bottom one looks like it has notching on the upper and lower left of the "D". Possibly a RPM, can anyone else confirm this?.
