Just to clarify, I don't anticipate ever buying from a tv show. I was just trying to answer the question of how overpriced they are.

There is something else that needs to be pointed out here. It is pointless for anyone to hype rare coins that really are rare. How are they going to fill the orders? When was the last time you saw someone hyping 1894-S dimes? Coins that are hyped are not rare, and most likely are as common as a glass of water. Selling rare coins that *really are rare* has never been the problem. Getting them to sell has always been the problem.
