very nice indeed, I can't say much more than what's already been said.

Time to start my own though, that's for sure.

Ok, you all have shamed me into this:

The 1971 Ike is now replaced with a 1972 Proof

And the dog-earred 1997 Wash Qtr is replaced with a 1970 one. (I realized that almost all of my Washington quarters are 1964 and earlier! Bad on me!)

Here's pics:

Enjoy!

I also didn't like the 1891 Seated Liberty dime either.

Here's the new one I just bought:

I find it laughable that someone with a collection as yours, had to put that ratty old 1997 quarter in there before upgrading. You didn't have a proof lying around somewhere?

Ok, ok! So maybe I didn't pay much attention to the more modern ones!

I didn't take it out of my book. I just grabbed one from my change jar. It does have good details (but a LOT of wear dings, etc.):

Give me a break!

(I really don't have alot of newer modern coins!)

I do have a better (MS type) Wash quarter I'm going to be bid on now on ebay.

I also just replaced the Barber Half and the Bust Dime from Harlan J. Berk. (I like their stuff and they seem to be actually pretty reasonable cost-wise.)

Yeah, I don't care that much about moderns either honestly. I try to find ones that have colorful tones, but that is more difficult with clad coinage. Nice coins! Has the first Seated dollar been whizzed? It looks like it has some unnatural luster.

Pictures of the 7070 new 1915D Barber Half:

Any guesses on the grade Harlan J. Berk gave it? I posted this coin in the Coin Grading area. Please look for it there (so as not to mix the topic areas...)

(It's certainly better than my 1899 half I have in my 7070 now...)

Enjoy!
