was there any known problems with the 1957's in particular?

1957-P-LMC-W/Die-Break-And-More-On-Datei have run into quite a few 1957's with various die breaks, on the date, and "liberty" as well as a few on the motto. here is a fairly odd one with a break inside the loop of the 9, and something extra on the tail of the 9. it almost looks like extra metal, which also may have taken some kind of a hit. just a coin for sharing. I'm sure it is not af any particular value, other than a sort of odd die break. thanks.

Just about all the fifties have some die breakage around the date area. What you are seeing on the leg of the 9 appears to be a series of die breaks, starting with the one closest to the 9 and progressing outward as the die continued to be used.
