I'm glad to have snagged this one. It's raw and, as far as I can tell, problem free. The coin doesn't look as green in hand as it does in the pix.

Hi Stephen

I would like to go F-12 on this coin, but I think it falls just under, not enough skirt line for me to be comfortable there ,

VG-8

Nice semi key of the series though !!

Stephen, I'm not very good on Walkers, but I'll give a stab at it. VG-08 or VG-10, a nice example of an uncommon coin. (BTW, like my other guesses, I haven't looked at the others' guesses. I'll check to see how well [or not] I did compared to the others.)

Of course, there is always my standing offer to send it here so I can give it the attention it deserves. Also, here in the middle of the very dry (up to 10% humidity today) Arizona desert, I'd like to mention my coin storage facility which will preserve coins (and script, rare books, bodies, whatever needs to be preserved) almost forever.

Thanks everyone. I wish it was F12, but it's not and I needed you to tell me that. It doesn't matter anyway because it's a very respectible VG and fills the slot out very nicely, IMO.

I must say, there are some good graders here- it appears that everyone is in agreement. In grading those before 1921- there is a factor to consider- (Not here) but for future reference. and that is skirt lines are weaker in those dates-(according to ANA photo Grade book) Your coin on the reverse might possibly go for F-12 by a dealer selling this coin- due to the visible feather structure. Be that as it may-I saw one at the Albuqueque show first of Apr and he had it graded vg8 priced at 215.00- which was a fair price. I am in the market for a 21D is why I remember- and this dealer was the only one I found with a 1921- So my friend, as you already know, any of these 21's are very scarce. Dewey

I'm looking for a 21-D in VF or better. I know this will take a lot of patience and money I don't have yet. But I'm definitely window-shopping.
