These 3 choice Buffalo nickels are my latest photographs, all are graded VF.

1. A 1913 S Type 2

2. A 1920 S - Toned

3. A 1920 S - Not Toned

I will add a 1921 S, a 1925 S, and a 1926 S after I photograph them. All are graded VF.

Thanks, Bill. I used the "auto" setting on a Kodak EasyShare, and I used the overhead fluorescent lighting at the coin shop.

Tony,
I have a Kodak EasyShare and get nowhere near the quality you did.
I have a dx6340. Is mine too old?
Do you use the zoom or anything else?
Thanks

murty, it's an EasyShare Z710. I use Adobe Photoshop to bring out the features on the coin. I hold the coin up to my computer screen and then make adjustments to get the photo looking as close as possible to the actual coin.

Man! Nice pictures (again!) Tony!

I think, (next to me, of course!) you like looking at pictures of coins as much as anyone on this site!

I always look forward to your posts!

I mainly like taking the photographs and getting the photograph to look like the coin. I almost feel like an artist painting a picture.

This is the sixth nickel in the current batch that I am photographing; a 1926 S. The gold toning is neat.
