Morning all,
I bought this from a mail bid many years ago for $3.05 from a company called James J. Reeves from Pa.
It is labeled as a MS-65 Small. I know it is nowhere near a MS-65,a 60 at best and it has a lot of bag marks. I hope the scans are good enough for grading. It has some nice toning that did not show up on the scan. Was there a small date and a large date that year? All opinions are welcome. Please give your idea of value also.
Thanks a bunch,
John1

I am not familiar with any large/small date varieties for any of the Eisenhower dollars.

However, I am of the opinion that all Eisenhower dollars are good.

NumisMedia shows $2.28 for MS-60 and $31.25 for MS-65

Scans are notorious for not showing luster and flattening details.

I feel the true grade is lost in the scan, but given the contact marks it is, at best, in the lower end of the MS range.
