Hi,
Can you help me?
At the end of the catalog of the German Empire in "patterns" there is without mintmark coin pfennig 1917, but tell me what's your opinion - that this coin is authentic? I have no other aluminum pfennig for comparison, and you? approximately 0.8 grams, 16-16.2 mm diameter.

1917-A
For clarification as to where the mintmark should be.

Do you see a raised dot at the precise spot the where the right mintmark should be, when you look at the coin closely? The photo suggests there is something there.

Yes... there is 2-3 very minor dots on the mintmark site, possibly very worn letters...

Thank you
