I have picked up a nice coin and am needing help.
At first glance it looks like a morgan but the reverse does not match.
this coin is a 1896 with a morgan obverse.
the reverse says one troy ounce across the top
and .999 fine silver and silver trade unit across the bottom.
the picture in the middle is of a scale.
I have searched on the internet and came up with a morgan commemorative. But on the commemorative coin it did not have a date on the obverse. and on the reverse under where it says one troy ounce at the top it has a 3.11 gram weight. So if there is anyone that can help me figure this out.
