guess the grade of this recent purchase on the CCF site...
pics are not great...I used my scanner..the details are very strong
(very little wear, the date is sharp)and there are fine hairlines from cleaning and a couple of carbon spots

Difficult to tell from the picture, but what I can make out I'll grade it at AU-55.

If authentic, AU-ish details possibly cleaned. I believe it to be real, but it's impossible to tell for sure from those pictures. If fake, it is likely a high quality transfer die fake; and those are very difficult to tell unless you are an expert.

You guys were correct...NCS authenticated...AU details
with heavy cleaning(lots of hairlines not seen in my scans).
I picked this up from poconopete(CCF member) for my type set...affordable and attractive.

I think any cleaning on the Trade dollars really shows up.

Those large open flat fields in this design (particularly on the obverse) are ripe for destruction!

For $85 I'd rather have a UNC detailed coin with hairlines
than a problem free coin with little or no detail showing..
this coin fits my budget and objective of a type set that shows
VF or better details
