Perth MintEach Mint produces their own unique reverse and obverse dies. Therefore each year a different Mint strikes coins we have a type coin and each year two mints strike the circulation and mint set coins we have a two varieties for same year, same denomination.
Similar differences exist with the larger decimals 1967 - 2006 where more than one Mint struck coins.
