I have 4 of these. I cannot find one on ebay graded this high. Is this odd?

If it is gold plated, I am not even sure why it would be graded/slabbed in the first place as the plating would render it an altered coin Got a pic?

Sorry I see these are graded. Just because they are graded they go up in price?

Does not make since on current coins.

are you talking about Presidential $1 "Golden" coins? TPG'S grade them as a year set as seen in your link. An entire year set (4 coins) graded by a reputable TPG as MS-70 would command a larger amount than a random coin out of a proof set, especially seeing the quality control issues the mint is having.
