You sure about the 8x face figure? They BUY them from the public for that amount, but they don't sell them for that amount. Not around here and not at any bullion dealer I know of, big or small.

Here in California. Folks occasionally post adds on craigslist, they are crazed. Preaching how silver will be at 25.00 an ounce next month. They are the doom and gloomers preaching end of the world and so on. It is nothing for them to pay 12x when they are in such a mindset. They wander into a shop and see it selling for +$2.50 and all of a sudden they panic.
