Super coin d23......
there are not many as nice around, and for sure not with DR.
I want one......

Hi Adanak44

do you know how to determine Die rotation?
You say 10% counter clock wise. well that would be 36° right?
However, HOW do YOU determine die rotation.

Excellent comments and that is why it is here to get to the bottom line on rotation. (what ever that will be) I have bee told it is X number of degree by several and I'm sure they were all right in the way they measured. MY way I measured this at 23 degree rotation

mkb and adanak44 I am here to learn so would you please share your measuring technique so I am able to learn the proper ways to determine die rotation.

d23, all I did was copy the image into software that has a rotation function to alter the orientation of an image. I rotated it one degree at a time. It took 13 degrees to correct. But if the obverse was not lined up properly, this could change by a few degrees.
