How many total circulating coloured 25c coins are there? So far I just know of the 2 Poppy quarters and the Breast Cancer quarters. And I didn't even know there was a new Poppy coin in 2008 until just a few days ago! Have any of you got these in your change?

To the best of my knowledge, those are the only three. I've found each of those in change.

On a related topic, I think there are / will be some gold- and bronze-coloured Olympic coins.

Yep, those are the only three. And the ones in circulation are starting to look really worn. Pretty ones are getting tough to find in change.

It seems they are every two years, so any guess to what next years might be? Or do we think the mint does this just randomly?

I'd go with randomly, myself.

Not for circulation there isn't. I think there are some non-circulating sterling silver loonies with colouring.

Sounds about right McNickel. I think you're just missing the double poppy from 2010.

I've got an example of both the colourized raised 2 and incuse 2 from the men's hockey release in 2009.
