This is a different 2008 New Mexico Quarter I just found this afternoon roll searching.

These are die clashes on the obverse under Washington's ear?

I have found a couple of different reverse clashes and none of them show any evidence on the obverse. My thought was that they changed out the obverse dies since the reverse clashes I found per pretty severe. What you found is what I expected to see. Any evidence of a clash on the reverse on your coin? If anything - the earlobe area should show.
