Coins Out Of Their Original Packaging Effect Their Value?

papeldog Pillar of the Community Canada 1923 Posts	Posted 09/11/2009 6:05 pm As long as there are no scratches marks rubs and it still looks like a nice coin I think it is OK, but the better grader a person is the better. For resale it might be better to get it graded? Report this Post to the Staff

Dollar1948 Pillar of the Community Canada 636 Posts	Posted 09/12/2009 07:37 am As far as commerative coins, specifically Canadain commerative silver dollars, theres no way I would agree to paying a standard trends value of any coin of this nature, without the original clam shell case. MrCanada Pillar of the Community Canada 650 Posts	Posted 09/12/2009 10:35 pm I broke out the ones from that series and others and have them in my quarter set as a separate collection.Unfortunately I don't hold much hope for worry about there value going up.Some are interesting and pretty low mintage.
